Stuart Johnson practices law and is the Managing Partner of the Atlanta office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Mr. Johnson has extensive experience with growth-oriented enterprises, with middle-market business transactions, and in the private equity and venture capital markets. He is recognized by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the fields of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the global board of directors of the Association for Corporate Growth, is a founder of the ACG Atlanta Capital Connection, which is the largest M&A and Private Equity conference in the Southeastern United States, and has been a member of the planning committee for the Southeastern M&A Forum, and an instructor at the Alliance for Mergers and Acquisitions Advisors’ Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor credentialing program.
Mr. Johnson earned his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Virginia School of Law, an M.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Virginia.
