Why ISG?
Culture
ISG has the infrastructure and management capabilities of a firm many times our size, yet maintains an entrepreneurial spirit fueled by growth and ever increasing opportunity. New team members have the unique ability to not only participate in the culture, but also to shape it as we grow. Everyone at Insight Sourcing Group is committed to an open-door collaborative environment.
“Access to the senior leadership is not something I expected coming right out of school, but at ISG that exposure is frequent and extremely beneficial in building my skills and understanding the firm's strategy and how I fit into it.”
-Kirk P., Associate, Georgia Tech, Electrical Engineering |

ISG values work-life balance and believes family comes first. For many, consulting offers the ideal mix of intellectual challenge, continuous learning, and variety. But the demanding lifestyle and the grind of constant travel forces many to reluctantly seek alternatives at some point in their career. We have successfully developed a model that enables the consistent delivery of outstanding results without requiring the tremendous sacrifices common in consulting. Most projects at ISG require far lower travel than is typical in consulting.
“Balance was a big draw for me in coming to ISG. The very reasonable amount of travel I have now is great for building relationships with my clients but also for being in the office to connect with our team and having more time for personal pursuits.”
-Lindsay M, Senior Manager, Emory MBA |

ISG's work/life balance and limited travel fosters a collegial and fun environment in the office. Team building events are frequent and have included company-wide resort getaways, lake trips, golf outings, and other fun activities.

Professional Development
Firm executives and managers possess an impressive breadth and depth of knowledge and consulting experience, having worked with firms such as AT Kearney, Deloitte Consulting and Accenture, as well as having held senior level positions at Fortune 500 companies. Our junior team members experience an uncommon degree of collaboration with our senior executives while working on projects, through structured and informal mentoring, and through social activities.
Project teams at ISG typically consist of senior employees supported by analysts. This gives new hires the opportunity to work directly with managers and senior vice presidents on a day-to-day basis from the beginning of their career at ISG.
Mentorship is a key component of the professional development strategy at Insight Sourcing Group. All new hires are paired with a senior-level employee who helps guide their career and provides frequent feedback.
ISG also believes in self-improvement and thus conducts twice annual performance reviews at every level, as well as 360 degree feedback surveys for the entire management team. We also offer frequent training sessions to provide employees with a deeper understanding of relevant skills and industry knowledge. These tools help direct personal development and improve on existing skills.

Opportunity
Insight Sourcing Group is a fast-growing company, with many opportunities for both personal and professional development. Everyone at ISG, from the analysts to the senior vice presidents, contributes to the strategic growth plan of the firm.
“At ISG, even the analysts are engaged in shaping the future of the firm. Everyone attends quarterly meetings where we address the business plan and our firm goals. I did not expect this level of detailed exposure to the inner workings and strategy of my company at this early point in my career.”
-Melissa G, Analyst, Emory University, Mathematics and Business Management (dual major) |

As ISG continues to grow, opportunities for building expertise in a category or managing a "business within the business" are available to our team members.
