Insight Energy acquired Trane’s energy procurement and risk management services (formerly Fellon McCord) in January of 2022. Since then, the team has been focused on strategically integrating the acquisition to drive expansion of energy procurement consulting and brokerage business.

Following a comprehensive analysis by Insight Energy, ISG set a 100% renewable energy goal for 2030 which includes a commitment to sourcing its electricity from renewable sources at its Atlanta headquarters beginning in 2022.
SpendHQ, the market-leading spend intelligence platform, was officially spun out into a standalone company in 2021 and has continued its rapid pace of growth in 2022 including the major acquisition of Per Angusta.

Joining forces with Per Angusta
In July 2022, SpendHQ joined forces with Per Angusta to create the world’s first integrated closed loop procurement platform. SpendHQ partnered with Charlotte-based Pamlico Capital to support the acquisition. Pamlico provided $65MM in funding for the transaction and to accelerate growth.
