Culture

Insight Sourcing Group is a great place to work, and the number one reason is our people. Our team culture is palpable. Spend some time with us and you’ll feel it.

Our culture is reflected in some of the recent awards our firm has received: the #1 Boutique Firm to Work For by Vault.com; the Top Small Workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; and a Best Place to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle for 9 consecutive years.

While we know you have to meet us to really “get” the culture at our firm, here is what you can expect (click the tabs to learn more):

The entrepreneurial roots of our firm encourage us to always be looking for improvement opportunities. Leadership and innovation are valued at Insight Sourcing Group, whether you’d like to:

  • Contribute toward refining our training program
  • Help build out our methodology for a new service offering
  • Plan the next company event

The environment of our office is one in which everyone contributes. Our team does not shy away from responsibility, and our drive is evident in our client results. Everyone is held accountable for the success of our clients and for the firm.

We are a close knit team. Our small team sizes allow individuals to engage interactively with the rest of the team, as well as our clients. Whether we have a team of 2 or a team of 10, you can usually find us working together in one of our collaborative spaces.

We work hard while we’re in the office, but we also value our time at home. This is why we put such an emphasis on our work-life balance. We enjoy the work we do, but we know when to close the computer and head home for the night.

This is one of the reasons we have such a high retention rate with our team.

We genuinely like and respect each other, which makes our workplace more enjoyable and our team events more fun! Some recent team events include:

  • Happy Hours (usually held at least twice a month)
  • Kickball (our team is the Low Cost Cougars)
  • Team-building Scavenger Hunts that span the City of Atlanta
  • Company-Wide Weekend Retreats (we’ve been to the Ritz Lake Oconee three times now)

We value our community, and strive to have a positive impact on the Atlanta area and beyond. Some of the ways we get involved include:

  • Annual Disabled Veterans 5K
  • Community Service Events (Atlanta Community Food Bank, Veterans Empowerment Organization, etc.)
  • Food and Clothing Drives
  • ISG Service Day (Firm-Wide community project during a work day)

Committed to Diversity

At Insight Sourcing Group, we fundamentally believe that people matter most.  This translates into our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for every employee. We celebrate differences in thought, backgrounds, and identity because we know that it improves the collective thought and progress of our firm. We empower our employees to enhance their career, with resource groups for support and mentorship, including a Pan Asian Affinity Group (PAAG), Pride@ISG Group, and Women’s Network:

  • PAAG was created to be a place for those of Asian identities to be able to come together and build a community within ISG while also educating and celebrating with the rest of the firm to build a more inclusive workplace
  • Pride@ISG is the ISG LGBTQ+ affinity group aiming to build an inclusive environment, educate the ISG community on queer issues and topics, increase visibility, and create community
  • The Women’s Network cultivates a community of female leaders to support and empower one another through numerous leadership development opportunities. The group strives to create and maintain an environment of transparency, encouragement, and long-term career growth
  • Black ISG was created to build an inclusive community within ISG by bringing people together who are interested in celebrating Pan-African cultures and highlighting the African American experience in our firm, country, and around the world
With a huge focus on our employees, Insight Sourcing Group is committed to helping all individuals reach their goals and advance their careers.
