Consulting Sales Executive – Hunter Looking to Make $300K+

You must have prior experience selling high-dollar custom engineered solutions to CPOs, CFOs, and CEOs of large corporations in a competitive market with long sales cycles. You must excel at finding and closing new opportunities, selling value, and building strong client relationships. You are a high achieving consultative seller with strong closing and listening skills. You should be highly motivated, tenacious, and thrive working independently within a team environment. Procurement experience is a plus. You must be based in Atlanta, GA and willing to travel up to 50% of the time. You must have prior earnings of at least $300,000.

Responsibilities and activities will include the following:

  • Meet or exceed all new business development objectives.
  • Build relationships with key executives and decision makers within accounts, notably with C‐level executives within Finance, Procurement and Sourcing.
  • Form strategic account and close plans including customer profiles, targeted programs, forecast reports and action items.
  • The successful candidate will have an aptitude for managing a complex, consultative sales process including lead generation, proposal development, presentation and contract negotiation for rapidly evolving services offerings.
  • Outgoing, professional and mature demeanor with a gift for establishing and maintaining a positive rapport and working relationship with a wide variety of personality types.
  • Develop, share and maintain an in‐depth knowledge of all key competitors.
  • Maintain timely sales and related information and provide reporting through designated tools.
  • Work directly with ISG’s marketing and ODC (on-demand creation/telemarketing) teams to drive lead generation and qualification with ideal targets.
  • Attend procurement and financial conferences (5-7 annually) focused on networking and lead development.

Qualifications for the Sales Executive position include:

  • 8 ‐ 10+ years of relevant and successful experience in new business development with a well‐regarded organization.
  • Experience selling consulting services is desired.
  • Prior experience within procurement and/or supply chain sectors is desired.
  • Track record of successfully establishing and managing Director, VP and C‐Suite client relationships at major corporations including leading presentations to these executives.
  • Undergrad degree from a well‐regarded university; MBA a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, growth‐stage, performance‐driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
  • Demonstrated management consulting and analytical skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to travel weekly on 1 ‐ 3 day trips to client sites and/or conferences nationwide.

Consulting Associate / Senior Associate

Associates will be responsible for helping support all aspects of Insight Sourcing Group’s client-facing projects, with direction from the firm’s experienced executive team. Both Associates and Senior Associates are expected to work closely with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives and will lead consulting, problem solving, project management and data analysis that will be the basis for client decision making.

Typical projects would include Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Transformation, Spend Analytics, and Make-or-Buy Analyses.

Specific responsibilities would include the following:

  • Develop robust sourcing strategies and recommendations
  • Develop and foster relationships with client stakeholders
  • Manage Insight Sourcing Group and client project resources
  • Facilitate developing project strategies and project plans
  • Work with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
  • Synthesize disparate data sources into insightful analysis and clear deliverables
  • Build consensus among client stakeholders
  • Present project results and recommendations to client executives
  • Analyze project financial results to guide management decisions
  • Coordinate communications with internal and external project team
  • Support new product/service development within Insight Sourcing Group and help launch efforts
  • Contribute to Insight Sourcing Group’s strategic decisions and direction
  • Exhibit integrity in decisions and firm relationships
  • Achieve excellence in execution of projects and initiatives
  • Limited travel, as needed

Qualifications for the Associate position include:

  • 3-6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Demonstrated project management, consulting, leadership and analytical skills
  • Prefer procurement and strategic sourcing experience, but will develop with the right candidate
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
  • Proficient at building and maintaining client relationships; proven client facing skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks and initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
  • B.S. in Business or Engineering with a strong GPA and/or Management Consulting experience

Consulting Manager / Senior Manager

The Manager / Senior Manager will be responsible for leading most aspects of client cost optimization or process optimization projects, including project management, client and supplier communications, supplier negotiations, and delivery of results. Managers will actively manage and mentor our outstanding associate and analyst resources.

Specific job responsibilities and activities, based on experience, could include the following:

  • Develop overall project plans and lead all or parts of client engagements
  • Manage Insight Sourcing Group resources on projects and coordinate with subject matter experts from within and outside of the firm
  • Develop creative strategies and recommendations
  • Present to client executives
  • Build consensus among customer stakeholders
  • Develop and build relationships with clients
  • Potentially lead new product/service development and launch efforts
  • Assist in developing internal Insight Sourcing Group strategy, intellectual capital and deliverables

Typical projects include:

  • Strategic sourcing both within a company and across a portfolio of companies (private equity)
  • Process reengineering
  • Expenditure analysis
  • Pre-purchase due diligence
  • Make or buy decision analysis
  • Benchmarking and best practices implementation

Qualifications for the Manager position include:

  • Strategic sourcing experience AND a consulting background with a well-regarded firm are strongly sought
  • 6-12 years of relevant business experience
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Demonstrated project management and management consulting
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to manage resources performing complex analytics in order to develop client decision support data
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks and/or initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
  • An interest and passion for growing and developing junior team members
