The Role:

The Consulting Manager will be responsible for running most aspects of client cost optimization or process optimization projects, including project management, client and supplier communications, supplier negotiations, and delivery of results. Managers will actively lead and mentor our outstanding associate and analyst resources.

Specific job responsibilities and activities, based on experience, could include the following:

  • Develop overall project plans and lead all or parts of client engagements

As an Analyst, Associate, or Senior Associate, you will be responsible for helping support all aspects of ISG’s client-facing projects, with direction from ISG’s experienced management team.  You would be expected to work closely with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives and will lead consulting, problem solving, project management and data analysis that will be the basis for client decision making.

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Private Equity practice. This role will work directly with our Private Equity practice leaders (partner-level consulting executives) to create brand awareness, build relationships, and develop strategic accounts within the Private Equity industry. You will gain exposure to senior executives at leading private equity sponsors, getting a behind-the-scenes look at how they operate their portfolio companies.

This role will require strategic, creative thinking. You’ll have the opportunity to craft our approach to marketing and account development and directly contribute to the growth of this strategic practice area. We are seeking a go-getter that wants to write the playbook and demonstrate results, not just follow instructions.

Example Responsibilities:

  • Play active role in developing and executing our Private Equity practice marketing and account development strategy
  • Build and manage outbound marketing and account development efforts (e.g., email marketing campaigns, social media, digital marketing, blog posts)

Insight Energy (IE) – ISG’s energy practice – is an exciting area of growth for the firm. The practice focuses on managing energy spend for ISG clients across all industry verticals, from national retailers to heavy industrials. The IE team works closely with clients to identify goals and develop strategies for reducing costs, hedging against market risks, and setting budgets and tracking financial performance. Additionally, IE offers a full range of sustainability services including emissions measurement (Scope 1, 2 and 3), target setting, decarbonization road-mapping, sustainability project implementation, and emissions reporting. Role Overview

The Energy Procurement Analyst (RFP) is responsible for leading the fulfillment of all client natural gas procurement events including Service Agreement clients and Energy Choice clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate with several different internal team members and external clients to ensure successful RFP execution. You will also have the opportunity to drive innovation and make recommendations for how we could improve the overall RFP process.

Responsibilities

  • Track, initiate, and fulfill all Request for Proposals (RFP) for assigned commodity including but not limited to data gathering, supplier solicitation, matrix creation, supplier selection, pricing analysis, and recommendation. Track RFP process in the designated system.
  • Manage the Insight Energy natural gas procurement process ensuring Account Managers are notified of any upcoming or outstanding client natural gas contracts that require attention.
  • Create and foster supplier relationships, maintaining an active database of available suppliers for all regions of the U.S and Canada.
  • Have a good understanding of energy infrastructure including but not limited to capacity, transmission, and distribution and how each affects a client’s procurement strategy.
  • Understand the various energy procurement pricing products including spot, fixed, and index related products.
  • Interact with internal client teams as well as external clients during the procurement process. Be comfortable conveying reasoning behind recommendations for the recommended products and terms.
  • Serve as the backup for the Procurement Analyst (Asset) and be knowledgeable in the fulfillment of all related analytical and procurement activities.
  • Maintain Salesforce or other designated systems with client energy contract details and own all energy procurement related data and reporting in the system.

Required Qualifications:

  • An environmental / energy, engineering, business, finance degree, or degree in a related field with 2+ years of professional experience in the Energy industries or equivalent previous Energy industries experience

We’re looking for a Scheduler/Analyst, for our Wholesale Power department to join Insight Energy! This position requires a highly motivated, detailed individual with the willingness to learn. The Scheduler/Analyst will conduct the daily forecasting and scheduling into the wholesale power market and complete the settlement process after the fact.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include scheduling, settlement and marketing of Insight Energy, LLC clients’ resources in response to the requirements of each clients’ generation & load obligation, while maintaining system integrity and reliability.

  • Provide scheduling and settlement services to clients with load/generation facilities or dispatchable/curtailable loads.
  • Act as centralized point of communication between clients, facilities, and RTO/ISO.
  • Update the RTO/ISO on changes in generating capability, including submitting outage tickets.
  • Perform settlement related processes and procedures to produce clear and concise reports daily, market shadow settlements and compliance evidence

Role Overview

The Analyst/Associate will be responsible for working on behalf of Insight Analytics’ clients to perform complex data analytics and develop insights from data.
